  • It is a full time programme and classes will be held on all working days.
  • As per the convenience of the renowned visiting faculty, some classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Teaching Assistantship is available for Gate qualified students. Under this, they have to teach for 4 hours/ week and would receive the stipend accordingly on a per hour basis.

      For GATE candidates - Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates and admission of such candidates will be based on GATE score.
      For Non-GATE candidates- The entrance examination and personal interview will be conducted at SIT, and based on the score of the entrance exam, merit will be declared.

Guidelines for Documents Uploading
Kindly note the following guidelines while uploading the documents –

  1. Upload one PDF file for each mandatory document (Aadhar card, 10th mark sheet, 12th Mark sheet, BE/B Tech 1st to 8th semesters mark sheets), having scans of both sides / all pages of the document.
  2. Upload the correct document PDF against the corresponding document title. For instance, do not upload the 10th mark sheet in place of the 10th passing certificate.
  3. Ensure that the uploaded document PDF’s contain clear and readable scanned pages of the required documents.
  4. Ensure that you save and click the Submit Button after uploading documents in the portal.
  5. You may upload the currently unavailable documents later; 8th sem marksheet in case of appeared students, Leaving / Transfer certificates, etc.

Eligibility:

Mathematics, M.Sc. Agriculture or equivalent from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Entrance Examination and Personal Interview:

  • GATE qualified students are not required to attend the Entrance Examination and will be directed called for the personal interview.
  • For Non-GATE students, a qualifier entrance examination will be conducted.
  • The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Students can attempt the entrance exam using a computer, laptop, or a mobile phone with internet connectivity.

The Intake for M.Tech. (Embedded Systems) is 15 students.
2. What are the eligibility criteria for M.Tech (Embedded Systems)?
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Mechatronics and other related disciplines from any recognized University/Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).
  • Professionals working in Registered Industry / Organization (Central / State) / Private/ Public Limited Companies/ MSMEs located within 50 KM radial distance from the Institute.
