International Faculty participating in Teaching at SIT
Dr. Kirti Ruikar, Senior Lecturer, School of Civil and Building Engineering, Loughborough University, UK visited SIT on Feb 4, 2020 for a discussion on signing an Academic Agreement with SIT for Research and Academic collaborations. She also delivered a talk on " Introduction to BIM and use of BIM for optimizing construction activities on site " as a part of course content enrichment and co-teaching for an elective course "Systems Approach in Civil Engineering" offered to Final year B. Tech students of the Department of Civil Engineering, SIT. This was the second lecture in a row, which was organised at SIT on BIM. Her talk was highly appreciated by the students and JRFs of civil engineering department.
International Faculty visiting SIT for collaborations
Dr Voicu Ion Sucala, Professor, College of Engineering, University of Exeter, UK visited SIT on Feb 5, 2020. He expressed keen interest to initiate joint programmes with SIT and also inviting SIT students for research internships at University of Exeter, UK.
On January 10, 2020, SIT hosted Dr Razi Nalim, Executive Associate Dean for Research, School of Engineering & Technology; Professor of Mechanical Engineering & Director, Combustion & Propulsion Research Laboratory, Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis, USA. Dr Nalim gave a talk on “Wave Rotor & Propulsion Engines” for the students of III rd Year Mechanical Engineering Department of SIT. Dr Nalim also had a very fruitful discussion with the SIT Faculty on possible collaborative Academic and Research programmes.
