Governance is "the process of decision-making and the process by which decisions are implemented (or not implemented)". The concept of "Good Governance" often emerges as a model to compare ineffective economies or political bodies with those which are viable.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology observed Good Governance Day on 24th December 2014, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A programme was organized on this day where the students and the faculty members presented their views on Good Governance.
